We will train on the technical aspects of the position, but the ideal applicant will be a self-motivated learner who genuinely enjoys people and enjoys solving their problems. This person will work with the retail team to maintain exceptional customer support by identifying and fulfilling customer needs. Routine duties include:
- Provide personalized customer assistance by assisting customers with all facets of their purchases, from helping them find their products to carrying those products out to the car.
- Perform computerized water analysis and advise customers on options for caring for their swimming pools.
- Process customer transactions on our point-of-sale system.
- Promote the overall image of Baker Pool & Spa by keeping showrooms and displays clean and organized, keeping shelves stocked, and preparing and maintaining attractive product displays.
Other activities may include creating product signage, assisting with the execution of in-store events such as cook-outs and consumer training seminars, looking up parts and other information for customers, communicating with our service department to facilitate customers’ service requests, and participating in industry training.
Applicant should be in good physical condition as some of our products weigh as much as 50lbs and keeping the store stocked and carrying products out to our customers’ cars are routine duties. Applicant should be very reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment as well as find ways to stay productive during slower times.
