As a Store Assistant/Clerk at Baker Pool & Spa, you will play an essential role in ensuring our store runs smoothly and customers have a positive shopping experience. Your duties will range from assisting customers with their needs, maintaining store cleanliness, restocking shelves, and processing transactions at the checkout point.

Qualification

Greet customers as they enter the store, offering assistance and answering any queries they may have.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
Restock shelves as needed, ensuring that all items are correctly priced and displayed.
Assist customers with locating items in the store and provide product recommendations when necessary.
Process customer transactions at the checkout, handling cash, card payments, and returns efficiently.
Keep the store clean and tidy, including sweeping, dusting, and straightening merchandise.
Assist with inventory counts and ordering supplies as needed.
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate them to management when necessary.

Responsibilities

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Proficient in basic math and able to lift and carry heavy items.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
